The Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter is a 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility that provides sheltering dogs, 93 cats, adoption services for dogs, cats and exotic animals including reptiles, amphibians & birds. This unique structure also provides individual adoption areas, a shelter clinic, a surgical center, grooming area and outside animal runs. This shelter offers necessary resources and services in terms of education, outreach, and animal care to the citizens of Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson and York County, Virginia. The Generac 3 x 300kW Modular Power System (MPS) was the best suited solutions for the project due to the products factory EPA Certification and flexibility of the integrated parallel approach the Generac MPS offers.
