Same company, new name, celebrating 40 years!
When we were founded in 1982, Bay Diesel began as a diesel engine repair service for marine vessels, first locally, then worldwide. We then expanded into the repair, sales, and parts for industrial grade diesel generators. In entering the market sphere for power generation, the future of power has opened a world of possibilities.
In hitting the 40 year milestone, we have taken a look at where we have been and where we are going, realizing that the name “Bay Diesel” no longer fully encompasses what we do.
“With the wind turbines offshore throughout the East, our strong portfolio of natural gas products, and other emerging power markets – broadening our name to ‘Bay Power Solutions’ better represents who we are now and who we will be in the years to come,” says President Rob Robins. “Whether it is mechanical or electrical power, our experienced staff of engineers and technicians have the solution.”
While our leadership remains the same, the update includes a fresh name and logo, which reflects how the business has changed through forty years of growth.
In addition to serving marine engines locally and worldwide, Bay Power Solutions is the Exclusive Distributor of Generac Industrial Power in the majority of VA and WV. Our Power Generation Division serves the Mid-Atlantic.
